TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS
Playing its first game in the newly formed NHL on December 19, 1917, the Toronto Maple Leafs began a rich tradition of hockey in Toronto that would become known as “Leafs Nation”. Winning the first ever Stanley Cup in that inaugural year was just the beginning. The Leafs would go on to win 12 more Stanley Cup championships. The Cup has eluded the Leafs since 1967, but there has been no shortage of accomplishments and great players to wear the blue and white. With a combined 50 years of NHL history to their credit, Darryl Sittler, Wendel Clark and Doug Gilmour have amassed not only points, but records and awards all along the way for the Leafs. We are fortunate to be working with three of Toronto’s greatest players to bring you the NHL Alumni Signature Wine Series.
