Ironstone Vineyards
Ironstone Vineyards is the tenth largest family-owned and operated, award-winning winery located in the Sierra Nevada Foothills region of California. For many years, the Sierra Foothills Wine Region has been California’s best kept wine secret. Ironstone Vineyards is located at the southernmost end of the region in Calaveras County. The family’s 5,000 acres of vineyards are located in Lodi and the Sierra Foothills. Stephen Kautz, President of Ironstone Vineyards, runs the operation focusing on producing consistent high-quality wines year after year.

The NHL Alumni Signature Wine Series™ 2007 Chardonnay
Chardonnay, one of the most popular wines in the world, is a classic white grape renowned for its clean, fruity, yet dynamic characteristics. This is a great unoaked chardonnay packed with tropical fruit, pear and green apple flavors. The finish is crisp and clean.

Food pairings: This wine is an excellent accompaniment to fruit and cheese, grilled fish, chicken, luncheon salads or pasta dishes with butter or olive oil based sauces.


The NHL Alumni Signature Wine Series™ 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the classic grape varietals known for its magnificent structure. This is a smooth, well-balanced wine with deep red-purple hues and a black currant taste that reveals hints of cherry, blackberry, fresh mint and a touch of oak.

Food pairings: This wine would be great with any numbers of dishes including grilled steaks, sausages, pasta with meat sauces, grilled vegetables and chocolate desserts.
